The Appeal
This lovely machine was hailed as a game-changer of its time. It was one of the first 16 valve four-cylinder production bike bringing new heights of engine performance and also featured superior chassis handling. This is a very nice example of the marque, having been lovingly looked after and clearly very well maintained. Overall, an excellent motorcycle and a fantastic 80’s superbike.

- Minimal signs of use and wear
- Paint and decals are all in superb condition, with only some orange peel effect in the black paint
- Wheels are in overall good condition with a small amount of curb rash to the right side of the front wheel
- The saddle is in very good shape, very clean and well presented
- All lighting and lenses appear clear, clean and fog free
- All of the controls and switchgear are in wonderful shape
- Brightwork very well maintained
- Bike appears to be a bit dusty, a small amount of TLC would bring this bike up to a truly stunning condition
The Mechanics
- Mechanically all appears to be sound
- The exhaust system is well kept, has some blueing to the headers and merge pipe
- Shock absorbers and forks all appear to be in excellent condition, with no oil leaks
- Tyres are both in nice condition
- Carbs all appear in good condition
- Control cables are all in excellent shape, with no splits or wearing though the liners
- There are some scuffs on the engine covers, however these are easily refurbished
- Lovely twin disc front brakes in good condition
- Rear slotted disc
- Braided brake hoses are a nice touch
