The Appeal

The TVR Tasmin 280i marked the beginning of TVR's wedge-shaped era, with Oliver Winterbottom's distinctive angular styling setting the Blackpool firm on a bold new course. Powered by the 2.8-litre Ford Cologne V6 with fuel injection and mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, the 280i offered the sort of sprightly performance that became synonymous with the TVR brand. Survivors in good order are increasingly sought after.

This 1982 example, finished in sapphire blue, shows just 19,800 miles on the odometer and has spent time in storage. The vendor states that the bodywork, mechanicals, and chassis are in very good condition, going so far as to describe the car as among the best in the country.
