The Appeal
We love a Land Rover built for purpose, and this 1985 Ninety is exactly that. It spent its life stored in a farm for 14 years before the vendor acquired it a couple of years ago. It carries a lovely patina that points to its storied life.
Enthusiasts highly rate early Ninety Land Rovers, and the petrol-powered ones like this are particularly unusual. This low-mileage, highly original example comes to market with a long list of work since 2023. The seller undertook recommissioning that included overhauling the brakes and carburettor and new sound deadening and exterior seals and trim. There is a set of new tyres plus recently fitted Terra Firma shock absorbers and steering dampers.
If you want a suburban show star, this isn’t for you. If your Landie tastes are more practical and purposeful, here is a chance to capitalise on all the recent investment this one has received. The vendor is arranging a new 12 months MOT prior to sale.
The vendor says:
“I love that you have to drive it. It's not a modern car you feel everything it has to offer and it always makes me smile.”
