The interior is generally in good original condition throughout but there are the usual signs of wear and mileage to be found, such as the seat bolsters, with the driver’s seat bolster being worn through and split. The seats are all finished in ivory ruffled leather and feature full electric adjustments, and there is air-conditioning, cruise control and an electric sunroof, though there is currently no stereo head unit fitted.
The dashboard has a few small hairline cracks, but carpets and headlining are all in good condition. The instruments are all nice and clear with no warning lights showing, and all the switchgear is reported to function correctly.
The electric seats, windows and sunroof all work just fine, as do those wonderful pop-up headlights. The rear seats fold flat, extending the cargo capacity significantly and the whole cabin has an up-market and real quality GT car feel to it with a high level of equipment.
In the boot the underside of the carpet has seen better days, but the engine bay is clean and tidy with no signs of any leaks or obvious problems anywhere.
With its futuristic and shark-like lines, pop-up headlights and its Venetian Metallic Blue paintwork, this 928 S4 is guaranteed to turn some heads.
It’s a great looking car and very presentable with good condition paintwork. The front has had some paint recently, to deal with the more obvious stone chips, but there are quite a few touched in stone chips to be found around the car but thankfully little else to report.

Recently fully serviced the car has recently been fully inspected and re-commissioned having sat in dry storage for the past 15 years.
Its mileage is relatively low for its age due to its long lay-up, though it might be prudent to think about having the cambelt changed soon, but otherwise this car is reported to drive superbly, being instantly responsive to the throttle and making smooth gear changes through its automatic gearbox.
The Porsche 928 S4 delivers real driver satisfaction with plenty of power and a surprisingly nimble and well-balanced chassis, with all the advanced engineering that you’d expect to find in a car conceived and built by Porsche engineers.
A true, well respected classic and a great iconic model from the 1980’s that should also prove to be a wise investment for the future.
