The Appeal
With interest in Jaguar’s svelte convertible continuing to rise, this is the sort of car collectors will want to find. Finished in the rare combination of Signal Red with black leather, it has covered just 44,000 miles in the hands of only four keepers. The condition is truly impressive.
Since 2006, the car has been part of the current keeper’s private collection on the Channel Islands. When purchased this example was especially selected by Cooper BMW of Cobham as a perfect example to suit the collection. Despite very sparing use, he has continued the previous keepers’ fastidious maintenance regime. Notable work in 2022 included a new water pump and a rear brake overhaul, including callipers, discs, and pads. In 2025 the factory lattice alloys were fully refurbished. The thermostat and gasket were also replaced. This work is in addition to maintaining the service records. The handbook shows 19 stamps, running regularly to May 2025 at 44,330 miles. Further reassurance is provided by the MOT valid to August 2026.
This is a really good example of the smooth and rewarding V12 XJ-S convertible. Definitely one for marque enthusiasts looking for the best.
