An immaculate original example
The Appeal
If you enjoy well-preserved original cars, well, it’s your lucky day.
The W201 190 series was credited as Mercedes-Benz’s first compact class automobile. It would of course go on to spawn the legendarily capable 2.3-16V Cosworth, but it’s rare to find good original examples of the standard saloon. This 1989 example has reportedly had just two former owners, covering a mere 76,328 miles. It’s in fantastic original order - a real survivor car, the likes of which you seldom see.
Complete with an advisory-free MOT, this beautifully preserved 190 is worthy of any collection.

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it's always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer.
