The Appeal
There’s a strong case to argue that if you want a summer modern classic that is as engaging and comfortable as it is reliable and practical, then you want a 944. Especially the later S2, which got the 211bhp 3L motor and improved gearbox.
This attractive Kalahari Beige metallic car is in great condition with low miles for its age. It has been in the hands of its current keeper since 2014, with very sparing use in recent years. He has continued to invest in the car, with recent work including a new hood and fruity Haywood and Scott stainless steel exhaust in 2023 and brake work a year earlier. The cambelt was replaced in 2021 just 1,000 miles ago.
This is a really tidy and well presented car that has clearly been looked after. It is also usefully factory standard. Inside there is a cream interior with professionally retrimmed front seats. It is a mark of the current keeper’s approach that to protect the finish he uses seat covers.
The car comes with a selection of useful spares and a long MOT to July 2026. A great example of these engaging transaxle Porsches.
