The Appeal
This 1993 Chevrolet (GMC-badged) van captures a fading slice of Americana — a full-sized road-going living room complete with velour, wood panelling and the sort of charm only a 1990s American conversion van can offer. Finished in black with red wheels and dressed with curtains, stereo upgrades and a speaker box in the rear, it offers a nostalgic hit for fans of Stateside steel.
With just 224 miles covered in the last four years, this van has spent most of its recent life tucked away, but retains all the visual presence that made these vehicles icons of U.S. road travel. The 4.3-litre V6 and automatic gearbox remain in place, and the van holds a current MOT valid through to April 2026. For anyone after a unique cruiser, camper conversion, promo vehicle or simply something different, this could be it.

The Condition
The bodywork shows honest age, with some corrosion visible on the underside including the leaf springs, rear axle housing and chassis rails. Paintwork presents consistently, albeit with patina and signs of age throughout. Chrome work is slightly dulled in areas, and window seals show weathering.
The interior is a time capsule of 1990s American custom style, with full curtain sets, timber-style trim, carpeted panels and plush upholstery. Seats appear original and worn in places, while dash plastics and switchgear show age and some scuffing. A retro Voxson stereo unit is fitted, along with a Haynes manual and a JBL speaker box mounted in the rear compartment.
Wheels are painted red and fitted with matching tyres, which show light wear but appear serviceable. Glass and lighting appear complete, though some exterior plastics are faded. Underside photos reveal expected corrosion for age, but no significant structural issues are visibly apparent.
