The Appeal

The R129 was one of the last cars built under Mercedes-Benz engineering-led ethos, which makes it a hugely dependable companion for weekend touring and European road trips.

There are many engine variants but the SL320 with the very reliable straight six 228bhp motor provides a good balance of performance and economy. This lovely 1994 example, finished in rare Andorblau with cream leather, has covered just 80,000 miles from new.

It is a well kept and preserved example, its cream leather showing few indications of use. It comes to market with a useful recent service that included a full check over plus refreshed fluids, brake work, new fuel pump and four wheel alignment. A clean CARFAX report accompanies the car.
