Completely rebuilt running gear with new suspension arms, new shock absorbers and coil springs with all new bushes, all new or reconditioned brake system and a very thorough service puts this V90 in good all-round mechanical shape and ready for work.
The beige interior is nicely worn in and features wood trim inserts, electric heated seats, electric sunroof, air-conditioning, cruise control and an uprated Alpine sound system to play mp3, CDs and it has BlueTooth functionality too.
A bit shabby in places the interior could do with a good deep clean to brighten it all up a bit, and maybe some extra effort needed on the driver’s seat bolster, but it is in overall pretty good shape and is still very comfortable and supportive.
The leather trim on the top of the door cards looks a little stretched in places, but there’s very little else to mention of likely concern.
The nice metallic blue paintwork is still in good overall condition, with only a few small scrapes and scratches around the car to detract from its overall good impression.
The wheels are fairly scratched up with kerbing and there is some bubbling paint on a wheel arch, a scratch on the driver’s door handle, a scuff on the front bumper, some stone chips at the front and the odd parking in London mark.
All the running gear, the suspension arms, shock absorbers and coil springs are all brand new, along with brand new bushes and rebuilt brakes and new brake lines all round with new discs and pads.
Under the bonnet all the oils, fluids, filters and plugs have all been changed and it’s just had a new timing belt and water pump fitted too.
They’ve always made a good estate car Volvo, and the V90 is no exception.
Built to last with plenty of comfort and safety designed in it’s the reason that they are every Antique Dealer’s favourite estate car.
