The Appeal

This remarkable Defender 90 is quite likely better than the day it left the Solihull factory 37 years ago. Recently meticulously restored, a process that is reported to have covered every single aspect of the vehicle, it is now presented in the sort of condition that will appeal to discerning collectors.

The Grasmere Green paintwork and warm tan leather complement each other and have clearly been completed to a high standard. It is nicely detailed too, including modern DAB stereo, folding front screen, rear benches with seatbelts and Heritage grille. It can be configured in open top mode or fitted with a quality tan fabric roof with fold up sides.

The mechanicals have been renovated with the same fastidious approach. Beneath the bonnet is Land Rover’s 5cyl 2.5L TDI engine mated to a 5spd manual gearbox. It is said to run and drive well and comes with recently renewed Revisione.
