The Appeal
BMW’s R1100S is one of those bikes that lets riders have their cake and to eat it. Put simply, it’s a great sports bike and a brilliant and comfortable long-legged tourer. That it looks great too, particularly in the stand-out yellow of this 2000 example, certainly helps.
Likely few have been as sparingly used as this one. It has covered just 15,704 miles from new and presents with few indications of its 25 years. A recent service and fuel filter mean that it is ready to enjoy. It is a testament to its current and previous keepers that it has never failed a MOT and never incurred a single advisory. The current test runs to August 2025.
It is largely standard, save for the addition of a fruity Remus stainless steel sports exhaust. BMW panniers and an Oxford tank bag are included.
The vendor says:
“The bike runs and rides perfectly and pulls like a train! It is in excellent overall condition and has always been looked after. It is ready to ride away and ready for touring.”
