There was a clue in the name for the E-class Mercedes, a range of executive cars which would be based on the new W210 platform, which was aimed at the younger market. The W210 E-class was the first Mercedes to offer a V6 engine, replacing the Straigh-six configuration. The car also received the new electronically controlled five-speed transmission, which proved to be a reliable and smooth unit.
This 2001 example has had just one owner from new and covered only 57,872 miles in its 22-year life. The Mercedes is in excellent condition both inside and out. You may have seen on some models that corrosion can be an issue with the wings and wheel arches; this vehicle is something of an exception, with no corrosion spotted around the wheel arches.
