The Appeal
2002 saw a raft of improvements to the 996, most notably the switch to the larger and more powerful 3.6litre flat six. The handling and aesthetics were also lightly titivated.
These later cars are therefore in demand. This one adds a high AWD convertible specification and very low mileage to those characteristics. Classically finished in black with matching interior, roof and hard top, the condition reflects its sparing use and very low number of keepers.
The service history matches the condition, the book featuring a run of stamps up to 2022 and 38,000 miles from Porsche main dealers and one specialist. The MOT runs to June 2024 with no advisories. A great example of a hugely capable car that is ready for Spring.
