THE APPEAL

This lovely 2004 Titan Silver Metallic example appears to have been well maintained by its owners since its release in 2004. The vendor has owned it since 2021 and has been meticulous about taking it out in bad weather, especially during the winter months, which has helped keep the M3 in such lovely condition. A modern classic which are becoming increasingly more difficult to find in such nice original condition.

THE INTERIOR

• The seats are in excellent condition 
• There is a small amount of colour wear to the driver’s bolster in keeping with the age of the vehicle, and a tiny amount on the passenger seat
• The rear seat is in good order
• The door cards are generally in good condition, but there are a few minor scratches on the grab handles 
• Air conditioning
• The instruments are reported to be working correctly, with no warning lights when the engine is running
• The odometer shows a reading of 104,577 miles
• The M-sport leather steering wheel with padel shift has a light amount of wear to the rim
• Factory head-unit is in place
• The switchgear appears in good order, working as it should, with no real signs of wear
• Inside the boot area is clean and tidy

• 90% of the tool kit is present

THE EXTERIOR

• Finished in Titan Silver Metallic (354) (Titansilber Metallic)
• The paintwork presents very well
• The front and rear bumpers have been repainted, which means stone chips are minimal; there are a couple along the leading edge of the bonnet
• The shut lines are all equal and matching 
• No dings or dents were spotted when looking around the car
• Xenon headlights, fog lights and indicators are free from any splits or cracks
• Electric glass sunroof 
• The windows appear to be free from scratches 
• There is some age-related perishing to some of the window seals
• The rear lights are free from damage
• Front and rear BMW badges are in good condition
• There is some fading to the M3 boot badge, which is quite common to see
• The diamond cut wheels have a small amount of white worm starting to appear on each of the wheels 
• A full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres are fitted, with a good amount of tread remaining

THE MECHANICS

• 3.2 litre straight-six  
• SMG semi-automatic sequential transmission
• 343 bhp 269 lb-ft of torque
• The M3 fires up as it should, with no hesitation, and the vendor reported the car is running as it should
• The SMG gearbox gives a smooth change in automatic mode or when using the padel shifters 
• No untoward noises are reported to be coming from the engine or transmission
• There are no knocks or bangs reported to come from the suspension
• The drilled discs look in good condition and bring the M3 to a stop in a straight line with no issues or juddering through the pedal
