Produced between 2002 and 2004, the 998 set out to expand upon the already adored 996, albeit with yet more impressive updates. In true Ducati fashion, the 998 platform would of course also play host to a series of special edition models, including the 998S FE (Final Edition)

The 998S FE is powered by the highly desirable Testastretta engine, which holds its roots in the previous Desmoquatto design, now upgraded from the crank up, and capable of producing far more power than its predecessor. Alongside the rev-happy engine, are adjustable Ohlins suspension units front and rear, along with Brembo disk brakes and an Ohlins steering dampener.
As the vehicle is yet to be ridden outside of the pre-delivery-inspection miles, this Ducati is essentially in its factory form and may be one of the closest like-new units in the world. With that in mind, the current owner does advise that the cam belts are changed before running the bike, although this can be arranged prior to collection.
