The Appeal
The Vanquish S doesn’t just walk the line between grand tourer and supercar. It pirouettes across it in suede loafers, snarling out 520bhp through twelve screaming cylinders that were hand-built in England, thank you very much. It was Aston’s flagship in the mid-2000s, the one you saw on Top Gear looking like a shark in a suit.
And this one? It’s barely broken in.
With just 18,886 miles under its belt, this 2005 example is the collector’s holy grail. Low mileage, clean engine bay, great bodywork, and just enough wear on the leather to say “yes, I’ve lived… a bit.” The back seats are still hilarious — unless you’re a toddler or a torso. But really, the Vanquish S isn’t about practicality. It’s about presence. And this car has it in spades.
If you’ve been looking for a proper British bruiser with an Italian soundtrack and a gentleman’s club cabin, this might be your perfect excuse.

The Condition
It’s aged rather better than most 20-year-olds. The exterior paintwork looks excellent in silver, with no major marks or imperfections visible. The interior leather shows some natural wear, particularly around the dash area, but is generally clean and well-kept. These interiors were built to last — and it shows.
The underside has a light layer of grime, which is totally normal, and some surface corrosion on the bolts, again expected for its age. Overall, it presents very well underneath, with no signs of structural issues.
All badges appear present and correct, including the signature “Handbuilt in England” plaque and the unmistakable metal Vanquish S sill plate. A proper bit of theatre every time you climb aboard.
