The Appeal
In a career defined by notable highs, Giugiaro’s Brera surely ranks as one of his best creations. Sleek lines, that could only be an Alfa, and neat detailing ensured the firm’s big coupe stands out as a sure-fire modern classic.
This 2007 car ticks most if not all of the Brera buying boxes. It is the ‘SV’ with the desirable Sky View panoramic roof, has the manual 6spd box and the updated, more powerful version of the 2.4litre JTDM engine, a motor both quick and economical.
The enthusiast owner has taken care of it. Recent work includes a service and check over plus replacement tyres and brake discs, using high performance cross drilled parts. The car has covered less than 6,000 miles since the last cambelt change.
It is no surprise then that the long MOT - to the end of June 2025 - carries no advisories and the photographs indicate a well specified car in great condition. The Brera is becoming collectable and this one looks compelling.
