The Appeal

Often praised as one of the greatest 21st century tourers - and prized as one of, if not the most successful car in the firm's history - the V8 Vantage has rightfully become the stuff of legend; a car that was a future classic right out of the gate. Exhilarating performance, distinguished lines and plenty of classic callbacks make this Ian Callum design a true masterstroke.

This 2007 example, finished in a striking Elusive Blue livery, is an excellent ambassador to the car's legendary stature. It's been wonderfully cared for, with plenty of service history and records of money spent in recent years. The keeper has enjoyed around 1,800 trouble-free miles over the past four years, and has recently treated it to a comprehensive service - with only 250 miles covered since.

The Condition

Striking Elusive Blue paint
A few minor stone chips around the nose and the odd mark elsewhere, but none visible from more than a couple of feet away
Original dark black hood fits and works well, having had £2,500 spent recently to keep it in fine fettle
The roof has some fold marks on the fabric, which would probably look better after a shampoo
The fit is good, and the roof raises and stows correctly
One small nick in the rubber seal in the C pillar area, but no other damage
Excellent panel fit and consistent gaps
Black 19-inch wheels with machined faces and Aston Martin centre caps
Wheels show some age-related damage and a couple have curb rash
Tyres are lightly worn with plenty of life remaining: Nankang AS1s up front and Yokohama Advan Sport on the rear
Smart Dark Blue Leather interior
Attractive dark blue and black colour combination of the interior
Black leather steering wheel is clean and tidy with no major wear
Clean instrumentation with no warning lights
Blue leather of the door cards and dash area is smart, with minor scuffs in places
Grey carpets are in good condition and very clean, with only light wear in the driver’s footwell
Seat leather shows light wear and creasing, particularly on the driver’s seat, but no obvious scratches or nicks
