Waxoyl treatment applied to inner arches and suspension components
Supplied with V5, Maserati leather wallet, and two keys
The Appeal
The Quattroporte V occupies a seductive space in the executive car world. It has the silhouette of a mafia accountant and the heart of a Ferrari; what more could you want?!
This 2009 model benefits from the later refinements in the M139 series, combining the 4.2-litre F136 engine with improved reliability and usability.
With just 33,575 miles on the clock and no former keepers, this is very much a rare find. The bodywork is in clean order, the interior in excellent condition, and the car has received a recent major service including spark plugs, all filters, and consumables. It’s also had a WaxOyl treatment to the arches and suspension to stave off corrosion. Even the alloys have been refurbished, and new Pirelli tyres fitted. If you’re after an old-school Italian saloon that doesn’t look like it’s been through Naples backwards, this is your moment.
Presented in Nero Carbonio, this Quattroporte looks every bit the suave Milanese bruiser. The seller notes the bodywork is very clean, and from the supplied images it presents well, with no glaring defects or signs of abuse. It’s a 2009 car, but it still manages to feel exotic in a way no BMW 7 Series ever will.
Inside, the Nero leather trim is noted to be in excellent condition. The dashboard and switchgear appear unblemished, and the steering wheel and seating surfaces show minimal signs of wear. For a 15+ year old luxury car, this is very impressive. The Quattroporte’s famously detailed cabin still carries the aura of a boutique GT, with its analogue dials, ornate Maserati clock, and that leather-lined aroma that practically smells of ambition.
Recent service with spark plugs and filters replaced
Runs and drives well according to the seller
No dashboard warnings visible in images, although some lights are illuminated for the accessory position
Mechanically, the seller states that it runs and works, with no issues flagged. The recent service should give peace of mind, and the engine bay appears tidy and well-kept. The ZF automatic gearbox fitted to later Quattroporte models was a marked improvement over the earlier DuoSelect system, offering smoother and more reliable shifts — ideal if you’d prefer not to break down in your driveway.image.png2.44 MB
