The Appeal

The R107 Mercedes has become an appreciating classic because of its innate abilities: relaxing, comfortable, practical and of course extremely well built, it is a classic you can admire, show and use for long driving tours. It was available in a huge range of engines and specifications of which the later, lightly updated 80s models like this one with their Gullideckel alloys seem particularly popular.

The 560 SL was a US-only model equipped with a 5.6litre version of Mercedes smooth V8 engine. Is with all Mercedes of this era it is capable of vast mileages. This attractive 1989 model was one of the last built before the model was phased out and was neatly specified by its first owner with a combination of Arctic White bodywork and Medium Red leather interior. It comes complete with a factory hardtop making it perfect for year-round classic Benz motoring.
