THE APPEAL
The sports car DNA was an essential part of the Porsche Cayenne’s DNA, meaning that although it was an SUV and a complete new direction for Porsche when it first appeared, it was still a high-performance model.
With 450hp, the turbocharged range-topper could accelerate from 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds, making it almost as quick as a 911. It had a top speed of 166mph and permanent four-wheel-drive.
Almost 21 years since it made its debut, the Porsche Cayenne is now an increasingly popular modern classic, with a strong following from those who want the cachet of a Porsche badge, family-friendly practicality and strong value for money.
This one is a wonderful example – a full-fat Turbo Tiptronic, it’s finished in unusual Lago Green (a very dark teal) and is trimmed in Saddle Brown leather with a rare suede headlining that was a £2,200 option when new. It’s supremely equipped with rear DVD screens, heated front and rear seats and adjustable magnetic dampers, to name but a few of its comprehensive features.

This is not your usual Porsche Cayenne Turbo that’s been passed around - when the expensive maintenance tasks have needed to be carried out, they have been. Please take a careful look at the photographed invoices. These include renewing Right Cam Gasket covers at 97,304 miles. Heater Blower was replaced at 94,031 miles.
Window regulator replaced at cost of £633. Air Con Recharge at 91,976 miles. Coolant Head tank was replaced in the middle of 2018. Replacement of plastic water pipes with aluminium pipes at a cost of £1,452 at 70,870, prior to this service at 69,990 at cost of £980.63, Camshaft Position Sensor Replaced, 80K service, front pads and disks replaced, drive belt replaced, tail pipe clamps replaced, left hand coil pack replaced and various other tasks carried at a cost of £2,441.85 on 62,773.
