Alvis Crested Eagle Special, year 1938. Chassis number 1326X. Colour dark red combined with a black leather interior. Black soft-top and tonneau-cover. This gorgeous Alvis Special was built on a 1938 Alvis Crested Eagle chassis in the years 2012 / 2013. The work was carried out by a renowned Dutch pre-war car bodywork specialist. All the mechanicals were extensively overhauled, and the 2. 7 Litre six-cylinder engine was overhauled by the renowned firm of van Giersbergen in the Netherlands. Costs nor effort were spared to build a superb Alvis special. A complete photo report of the restoration is present as is a file of invoices. This magnificent automobile is in superb condition. The car has participated in a variety of historic events like the Alzheimer Rally and the Tulip rallye. The car is known with Altena Classic Service since it was completed in 2013. The car has been serviced and maintained in our workshops perfectly. This fantastic Alvis Silver Eagle Special drives and handles beautifully; a fantastic pre-war experience!
