Supplied new via Watson of Liverpool to The Right Honourable Lord Shawcross. This S3 comes to us with a massive history file covering maintenance since 1984 at which time the car had covered a documented 23, 000 miles. An unbroken chain of MOT's warrants the mileage at 75, 537 as of the date of photography. We have only photographed a small portion of the history file as it is too big to list in its entirety.
Massive expenditure has been undertaken including fitting new sills & a bare metal respray in its original colours of Tudor over Shell Grey. All woodwork has been removed & refinished to a beautiful standard including the rear picnic tables. The interior has been freshly re-trimmed in unmarked brand new grey hides, the headlining redone & a new set of carpets intalled along with new door cards. New radial tyres were also recently fitted all round.
The car is in immaculate condition & has had vast expenditure lavished upon it. It drives beautifully with ample power, excellent brakes & a soft undulating ride. It would be very hard to find a better one at the price being asked. We picked it up from the current owner in Cornwall & had the pleasure of driving it back to our Northampton Showrooms; a journey it shrugged off with aplomb. It is a car easily capable of continental cruising at 80 to 90MPH where permissable.
