Descripción
Chassis B43-78-17 was used in 1978 by Emil Frey AG in the Swiss championship. Powered by a Toyota engine from Novamotor with mechanical Kugelfischer injection and a gearbox from Hewland. The championship was won by the sister model with Patrick Studer at the wheel. After that the car was only used for racing in 1978. Between 1988 and 2006 the Chevron was occasionally used on race tracks or for show runs at historic hill climbs. The history of the car is well known and the chassis is accident-free. A renewed racing use is possible with little effort.
