In 2013 this cars Bristol 85C engine was completely stripped down to every last part and fully re-built by Bristol specialist Spencer Lane-Jones LTD around 12, 000 miles ago. Spencer Lane-Jones call the spec this engine was built to the "touring spec". Here are some of this engine features...
Cosworth +0. 020" pistons and rings, Bristol sports intermediate camshaft, vernier camshaft pulley, hi-torque head studs and a modern diaphragm clutch to name a few.
Modifications have also been made throughout the vehicle to suit the Grand Tour aim. Such as a vacuum servo fitted to improve the brakes and a overdrive fitted to make long drives ever more pleasurable.
