This little beauty was refurbished with new carpets, headlining, repaint and engine compartment fettled to show standard, then displayed in a museum for over a decade. It was nevertheless kept roadworthy and removed from display periodically to be used by the owner in good weather before returning for continued exhibiting to avoid the problems associated with being laid up for long periods. With early Mini related vehicles proving as popular as ever, this small and tractable classic with its classy Wolseley brightwork and trim is a great little driver and is stunningly finished with Turquoise roof over Fawn bodywork with Blue Grey Hide. The odometer of 52, 000 miles seems likely to be correct judging by the car’s tight, unmolested feel and remarkably preserved original features such as its leather seating.
