This matching numbers bike has a superb history and has just completed a nut and bolt restoration.
The present owner bought this bike in 1960 and still has the old brown log book as well as current V5 confirming matching numbers and original registration.
Now sadly , ill health forces sale.
Restoration was started 4 years ago , and a complete rebuild has just been finished with photographic records and bills for over £15, 000.
The original spec includes original factory valanced mudguards and brand new Amal 276 carburettors. As part of the full engine rebuild , it was rebored to +020 thou with new Omega 7. 3 to 1 pistons .
Updates include a Hill centre stand (easily removed for originality if wanted), 12 volt electrics with Alton generator and ribbed front brake drums.
An interesting flat tank machine may be taken in part-ex.
