‘BOA 436’, a delightful 998cc Matchless-powered Super Sports, was first registered at the end of May 1935, finding its way in the early 1970s into current ownership in Bedfordshire. The current vendor, an aircraft engineer by trade, restored the Morgan over a number of years until finally returning the car to the road in the late 1980s. The bodywork and trim were professionally refinished, whilst the engine was rebuilt by the vendor himself. Once completed, the Morgan was used extensively for a number of years, before more recently residing in the owner’s small collection.
Cosmetically in very good order with nicely finished coachwork in cream, black cycle wings, and a black leather interior, the Morgan looks beautiful and starts easily (a video showing the car being started is available upon request). I think that would be very useful. Offered with a V5c and older green log book, this charming Super Sports will make a fine addition to any collection.
