The Appeal
Avant l’arrivée des Sportpack avec leurs ailes élargies et leurs jantes, le Cooper rénové restait fidèle à l’esthétique de l’original. Avec l’injection à la place des carburateurs, ces modèles offrent au acheteur la vigueur et le look de l’original mais avec une meilleure build et une fiabilité accrue.
Cette MPI 1998 particulièrement spéciale a parcouru moins de 53 000 miles entre les mains de seulement trois propriétaires. Elle est en bel état, la carrosserie rouge se présente bien et la structure semble épargnée des faiblesses habituelles des Mini. Elle est décrite comme d’usine et se présente comme une voiture très utilisable et propre. Vous pourriez l’améliorer, mais vous n’auriez pas à le faire.
Le carnet d’entretien montre une régularité des entretiens jusqu’en février 2026 qui appuie le faible kilométrage. On nous dit que le vendeur l’a acquise fin 2025 après l’avoir admirée à distance depuis 2021. Il la revend à contrecœur après l’avoir remise en service suite à une période de stockage. Outre l’entretien, les travaux incluaient de nouvelles conduites de carburant, des composants d’embrayage, et un detailing approfondi par Apex Auto. Elle est vendue avec un MOT utile jusqu’en février 2027.
