1981 MGB LE.
Originally owned by Mrs Hayes owner of Broadheads Garage until she passed in 2017 and only covered 3, 500 miles. Car was sold to the last owner by executors and has now only covered 5, 400 miles.
Introduced in 1979 to celebrate 50 years of MG Production at Abington, the limited edition (LE) were the last built before the factory closure in October 1980. Finished in Bronze metallic or Pewter metallic a total of 1000 LE's were built of which 520 were GT's and 480 Roadsters. This particular car was sold by W R Roberts Ltd, British Leyland dealers in Bury, to Mrs Hayes who only covered 3500 miles until her passing. It was then purchased by its last owner who has only covered a further 1500 miles.
Very rare low mileage car and a superb investment.
