Jaguar XJ-C 4. 2 Coupe Series 2 - 1977 - Matching Numbers - in very good condition!
Only 8, 378 pieces of this Jaguar XJ-6 Coupe were built. This XJ was delivered new in the Netherlands in 1977. More than 30 years with the last owner a true Jaguar enthusiast.
The now quite rare coupe has a very chic appearance, thanks to the beautiful lines and the stylish windows. in beautiful Signal Red color and decorated with beautiful chrome work. Technically equipped with the Matching Numbers 4. 235cc 6-cylinder in-line with 170 hp and linked to the automatic gearbox. This is an older restoration and the paintwork has some traces of use. The interior is in beautiful and very original condition. Beige leather and very comfortable seats finished with a wooden dashboard.
Major maintenance was recently carried out, during which the complete carburettors were renewed and adjusted. Maintenance has always been done by the specialist; previously at Kolvenbach and in recent years at Avelingen Restorations. The last owner recently made a trip with the Jag to the North Cape where 8, 500 km were covered without any problems.
The Jaguar drives very well and deserves to be driven more often. Thanks to the power steering and automatic transmission, it is an absolutely comfortable classic for touring. Immediately ready for use and provided with a new technical inspection (Dutch MOT).
