In 1996, Bentley introduced the pricey Continental T, a shortened version of the Continental R, with a more athletic appearance and a more powerful engine. But things did not stop there: building on the T, Bentley produced, from 1998 until 2000, the Continental SC, with SC meaning “Sedanca Coupe”. The SC had a glass roof, of which the panels above the front seats could be removed by hand. At the time, the SC was considered to be the world's most expensive passenger car. Just 73 examples of this exceptional car were produced, of which 48 were left hand drive. On 1 June 1999, the SC with chassis number #65064, the car we are now proudly offering for sale, left the factory and was supplied to the first owner, in Spain, by Bentley dealer C. de Salamanca in Malaga. Car #65064 changed owner one more time before it became ours. With only 16, 000 kilometres on the clock, the state of the SC is as one would like to expect it, the car is actually as new. The car, produced in Silver Tempest with green (Spruce) leather, comes with all standard items such as booklets, tools, umbrellas, car cover etc. The Continental SC is quite obviously a dream to drive, but its exceptionality and the limited edition in which it was produced turn this car into a gilt-edged collector's item for the investor. The car comes with a Dutch registration, all taxes have been paid.

Bentley introduceerde in 1996 de peperdure Continental T, een verkorte versie van de Continental R met een atletischer uiterlijk en meer motorvermogen. Maar het kon nog gekker, op basis van de T bouwde Bentley van 1998 tot 2000 de Continental SC, wat staat voor “Sedanca Coupe”. De SC had een glazen dak waarvan de panelen boven de voorstoelen met de hand verwijderd konden worden. De SC gold destijds als ’s werelds duurste personenauto. Slechts 73 stuks van deze bijzondere auto werden er geproduceerd, waarvan 48 linksgestuurde. Op 1 juni 1999 verliet de SC met chassnr. #65064, de auto die wij u met trots aanbieden, de fabriek en werd vervolgens in Spanje door Bentley dealer C. de Salamanca, in Malaga aan de eerste eigenaar afgeleverd. #65064 wisselde hierna nog een maal van eigenaar voordat wij de auto in ons bezit kregen. Met slechts 16. 000 gereden kilometers is de staat van de SC wat men er van mag verwachten, eigenlijk in nieuwstaat. De auto, uitgevoerd in Silver Tempest met groen (Spruce) leder wordt geleverd met alle zaken die erbij horen zoals de boekjes, gereedschap, paraplu’s, carcover etc. Vanzelfsprekend is de Continental SC een droom om in de rijden maar door zijn bijzonderheid en beperkte oplage uit oogpunt van investering een goudgerand collectors item. De auto wordt geleverd met een Nederlands kenteken.
