Austin Healey 100/ 6. Early Longbridge RHD home market car originally sold by Lookers of Manchester in December 1956. Virtually unused since total nut and bolt restoration to the highest standards. Finished in the classic Healey colour scheme of Healey ice blue over ivory white with blue leather trim and blue mohair weather equipment.
The engine is fully balanced and has been fitted with the later improved 12 port cylinder head and twin SU 1. 3/ 4? H6 carburettors, dynamic crank pulley, multi-blade cooling fan, electric cooling fan, oil cooler, high torque starter motor, Dynalite and stainless steel exhaust system.
Further improvements and upgrades fitted to this car include a 5-speed gearbox with unique side change gear linkage, aluminium fuel tank, front disc brake conversion and 72 spoke stainless steel wire wheels with period tyres.
This car is absolutely superb example of a Big Healey and is Mille Miglia eligible being a pre-1957. Please note that this car does come with the original gearbox which is rebuilt, original drum brake set, original starter motor and original dynamo.
