1968 MGC Roadster
With just 8, 999 examples built between October 1967 and August 1969, with a more or less equal split between Roadsters and GT models, the MGC has never been a particularly common sight on UK roads, as many were destined for overseas.
Although looking outwardly similar to its MGB sibling, the MGC was easily identified by the purposeful looking power bulges on the bonnet and its 15” wheels.
This 1968 Roadster was fully restored from the bare shell during the 1990s. It has been in the present ownership for the past 27 years, having been part of a small collection of MGs and just 19, 000 miles have been covered since the restoration was completed.
There is a photograph album detailing the restoration, along with magazine features on the MGC, plus the original Driver’s Handbook and a contemporary road test report from ‘The Motor’ magazine.
Always properly maintained, this MGC drives as it should and presents particularly well in its red livery. There is a tonneau cover included as well as a new, high quality car cover.
