Beautiful long lines of the Sunbeam Talbot 80 convertible known as the 80 DHC with 1185cc four cylinder overhead valve engine developing 47 bhp. Four speed gearbox with column change. A Drop Head Coupe finished and trimmed by Thrupp and Maberley. Original engine number 2800686 with Brown Log Book and original registration number LGT 51; number valued at £3, 000. plus; may split number from car, sell car for £10, 000 but reluctant to spoil provinance. Used by Foreign Office in India and South Africa. Fitted rear wheel 'spats' and taxi tyres. Very good chrome and paint work. Hood recently used and NO leaks. Usually just Summer use only. Recent complete brake reline and service history, Not concourse but a really good usuable classic coupe ready for Spring and Summer use. Recent new MOT, fuel pump, brake shoes and pistons, battery, plugs, repairs to hood.
