Direct from California we are very pleased to offer this excellent example of a very straight & rust free series 1 2+2 for restoration. The car is an original matching numbers, LHD, Automatic car manufactured in Coventry 3rd June 1966. Supplied in one of the most desirable colours of Opalescent Silver Blue. Overall this E Type is in amazing condition, 100% complete apart from the exhaust, with absolutely zero rust on the car anywhere. Panel gaps & shut lines are really nice and all the usual problem areas are completely solid & rot free. The original body panels, floors & chassis are all in very good condition. The matching engine starts and runs. The chrome trim is all present & usable as are the original chrome wire wheels. The windscreen is perfect with no cracks and the dash is also usable with no splits. The heritage certificate is present confirming matching chassis, engine, body, & gearbox. This ads further provenance to this rare car & with solid, original cars like this becoming increasingly hard to find this represents a fantastic opportunity to start your restoration from a very solid base, rather than spending months in the body shop cutting out & repairing rotten panels etc. The car is here in the UK, available now with all taxes paid & is registered on the NOVA system with US Title present.
