We are excited to offer this stunning example of one of the most Iconic Japanese motorcycles made in the seventies. The Honda CB750 Four with its four-cylinder transverse engine, was a big hit with the public at its introduction in 1968 and has since become a collectors favourite. It was unlike anything Honda had produced for the public, and frightfully similar to their race bikes, with the first mass-production in-line four-cylinder engine. It was the first Superbike, and more than 45 years later it makes for a great classic ride. Today, motorcyclists and collectors alike are snatching up original and restored early-production Honda CB750 motorcycles due to their limited numbers and their place in history.
Our bike is a 1972 model in "Candy Baccus Olive" Green and has recently benefited from a full restoration and tasteful modification turning it into a currently fashionable retro style "Scrambler". Work carried out included new wheels and tyres, new seat, new clocks, new top yoke, new rear shocks, switches, levers, handlebars, cables and Headlight. It has also undergone engine work including new cam-chain and piston rings amongst other work.
Having covered just 585 miles since its restoration this bike would not only grace any collection but would also be a great bike to take out and show off on those sunny Sunday afternoons.
