Description
A rare In Vogue edition 4 door in very original un-restored condition. There is a super history file with the vehicle and a documented history. To my knowledge it has never had any welding due to the first owner wax-oiling and oiling the bits that rust when it was new. It just flew through a mot and drives like a 3 speed on carbs does!. I think it had a used speedo fitted in 2019 as it was on a media drive and a used one was used in a hurry which is why the miles have jumped, I have not used it to do that many miles! MOT History shows 59000 in 2018. These were the vehicles that launched the first of the Automatic Range Rovers and also went upmarket with head rests, Philips radio cassette, sundym glass, Picnic Hamper and cool box, carpet and wood. They were a limited edition 250 in Nevada Gold and 250 in Silver. It carries the genuine cool box and the rare complete picnic hamper. The only non genuine part is the fitting of electric windows that were done when new. The Paint is 90% original, it had some touch up when it got keyed in its early life. There are blemishes around the body that may need touch up but i have left them as its part of its history. Just in case the new owner does a paintwork tidy up i have included some new genuine Pin stripes. The tyres though soft and as new are just showing a bit of cracking. This vehicle has appeared in many publications over the years and been used as a reference for originality. Its been used by Jaguar Land Rover on various press and media drives and static shows. It has been on loan to the Dunsfold Collection for years but is now surplus to requirements. Its spent all its life inside and i have barley used it over the last 13 years, It is as used and not tarted up or steam cleaned. Always goes and drives well. Happy to discuss it further if interested.
