1936 / 7 Austin 7 opal (2 seat tourer)
Really original condition, correct door cards, with holders for the side screens, original dash, engine, running gear etc.
Will be hard to find a more original factory version for sale at this price.
All Black paint with blue interior, new black all wool carpet set from a original pattern, as the original rubber matting was perished.
Original vinal hood with side screens.
One of the side screens perspex has a cracked screen.
I would replace both perspex screens and the perspex window on the hood needs replacing.
Paint has some tiny bubbles, and records show it was painted by in the 1980s.
Runs great, stops great, only modern mod is an in line fuel filter to the carb, a must have in my opinion as it prevents the carb jets from blocking up.
Car is located near Cockermouth in a dry store garage.
The Reg is original and does get some intrest....... Valued at 4k but I won't sell separately.
In my opinion its a really solid car with no hidden major mechanical or bodywork issues.
Dynamo is intermittent on charge, but show me one that isn't!
