Description
Triton 650 Dresda.
Wideline 1959 Norton Featherbed frame with uprated square section Dresda Swinging arm. Polished alloy petrol tank and oil tank, the tank has “Norton” decals. Pre unit 650cc 6T engine and Triumph gearbox.
I have the gear change pointing backwards but included in the sale is the rear-set to return the gearbox to standard 1 down. The gear change is smooth and positive using the clutch or not. I have fitted a cranked kick start so that it doesn’t catch my shin when riding. Engine has a twin carb head and starts easily once you have flooded both cylinders and resist the temptation to open the throttle. Magneto works perfectly and it is on 12v -ve earth. All the instruments are working and I have fitted a handlebar mirror for my own peace of mind. There are a few tools and spare bits and pieces included , clutch locking tool in particular. Tyres have no wear on them and both brakes are effective.
The V5C is my nameI have really enjoyed owning and riding the bike but it needs to find a new home. I am going to be concentrating on my pre- war bike and car.
