As classic bikes go they don't come much cooler than this! Manufactured in 1981 this matching numbers Yamaha XS650 was first registered here in UK in August 2001 where it was subject to a no expense spared Bobber conversion. HPI Clear with recent report present. Tax & MOT exempt as an historic vehicle. Starts first touch of the button. The clocks show only 1, 712 miles. Judging by the MOT history this is the distance covered since it was restored. Runs & rides well as can be seen in the YouTube video link above. The gearbox is sweet & the engine pulls hard with no smoke or rattles. A long list of work has been carried out including, new Mikuni VM carbs, Frame powder coated, Hydraulic clutch conversion, MAC competition 2 into 1 exhaust and many more improvements and parts fitted with loads of parts receipts & maintenance records present as pictured. Sold without warranty due to age but with no known issues. Overall quite a rare, great looking & very desirable practical classic that's great fun to ride with no need to worry about road tax or MOT. This model is still appreciating in value making it also a very good investment so be quick at this price!
