Rust free: inner and outer front wings

Rear hatch
New N/ S/ R wheel arch panel welded in
Repair panels fabricated and welded into rear, inner wheel-arches
Full glass out, respray in original Carmine red metallic, code 124 (only available 1980-81)
Front spoiler repainted in graphite grey
Slam panel powder coated, matt black
Car has been under sealed and had cavity wax applied
Components replaced:
New Pilkington ‘green tint’ windscreen
New Bilstein B6 front & rear shock absorbers, with ‘Powerflex’ poly bushes
T16 coil springs, front & rear, cleaned & painted
New bushes in rear, trailing arms
New steering rack gaiters x2
New CV gaiter N/ S (genuine Saab)
Antiroll bar fitted to rear
Brake hoses, front & rear
Reconditioned front brake callipers with EBC Yellow stuff pads
Reconditioned rear brake callipers with new pads
Four branch exhaust manifold (from later 900i)
New exhaust system - Bosal (later 900i straight through system) with new rubber hangers
Rear tailgate spoiler replaced with an excellent second hand
x4 new wheel arch trims
No mechanical work necessary to engine, gearbox or clutch apart from:
Engine service : 10w/ 40 semi-synthetic oil, genuine Saab oil filter, Mahle fuel filter, Mann air filter, cabin filter, NGK spark plugs, thermostat
Gearbox oil change: 10w/ 40 semi synthetic
Brake hydraulic system flushed and refilled with dot 4 fluid
Coolant system flushed and refilled with blue antifreeze
All light unit, including headlights, disassembled, cleaned and reassembled. I used my two best reflectors in the headlights. I do have a pair of genuine Saab headlight protectors that can be included. One needs a little work.
Headlining and rear quarter panel trims have been recovered

Genuine Saab rubber mats, front and rear
Crack free dash
Emergency jack, handle, wheel brace and four standard wheel nuts to be used with steel spare wheel
Two keys, plastic tab with key number and supplying dealer keyring. All locks are original and gear-lever locks in reverse

The car is an absolute pleasure to drive, providing confident and comfortable road manners and handling. The interior is a lovely and cosseting place to be. Brakes, gearbox and clutch all function without fault. My intention was to recommission the car for daily use, and therefore is not quite a ‘show queen’. Only for sale in order to raise funds for an imminent house purchase.
