Everything works, starts perfectly, runs beautifully especially with 6th gear option,
This is the last model year that both doors are removable, windscreen drops and roll bars can be taken off. There are many options for half doors etc but the hard and soft top combination is great for all seasons.
There is a box of spares inc. grill for rear fixing (invisible) so outer chrome grills can be removed, wheelnut set, tow bar just needs wiring in, filters, fixings, spare seals, Jeep tool set, Jeep owners manuals, media system manual, Haynes manual, x2 sets of keys and immobilisers.
I am in the process of wiring in the demister, water pump and wiper for the hardtop, all parts are with the car.
Bodywork is near perfection.
Interior is immaculate.
This is by far the best car I’ve ever driven, it would be faultless if it could tow over 750kg, I need to tow 2000kg so it has to go…This is a drivers car, the steering is light, there’s bags of smooth (or not!) power and with the torque and endless revs it’s great fun to drive.
You can however drive around town in 3rd gear as if it’s an automatic.
I found a media system that fitted straight in, this gives practical satnav with unlimited access to my phones music library, movies, messages and phone, all via Carplay.
I really like the interior, it’s simple, nicely built and built to last (wind up windows remember, because the doors come off!).
It’s a beautiful car.
