Description
For sale is my beloved Norton Commando 750S from 1969. It is not a concours bike but very well sorted and has had pretty much everything doing to it that is needed aside from general maintenance. It is reliable, oil tight and fast! I have owned the bike since October 2017 and in that time here's some of the work that has been done:
Full engine rebuild from Norman White.
New Amal Premier carbs.
New tyres.
New chain.
Serviced isolastics.
Boyer electric ignition installed.
New wiring loop.
Fresh paint on tank and side panels.
The list goes on as there's too much to mention. The engine build was done, not so much out of necessity but to make it was good for another 50 years of service and Norman is the best. I have receipts totalling over £9k on my watch and the previous owner had spent a further £2k since it was imported around 2016. All work either done by Norman or by a very experienced Commando expert. The engine and frame match and it is a genuine original 750S.
Aside from the work done on it, it remains a very original bike compared to most Commandos around and shows, to my mind, a very beautiful patina. It starts easily and idles nicely with no issues. It's a joy to ride. I don't want to sell it but life/ work circumstances are forcing the sale.
Any questions, please ask.
