Description
Hi. I'm selling my 25k mile Astra F Arctic 2. I just don't use it enough, and it's better off with someone who will drive it more.
1997 Astra F
Arctic 2 Ltd edition
Only 25k miles (less than 1000 miles a year average)
1. 6 16v automatic
Nautilus Blue
Full service history
4 x nearly new Goodyear tyres
MOT due next month, but I'll put a full year's MOT on it for the next owner.
Being an Arctic 2, its well spec'd:
Aircon (needs a regas)
Front electric windows (one touch too)
14" Alloy wheels
Front foglights
Colour coded bumpers and wing mirrors
Velour interior
Central locking
Rear top boot spoiler
Rear centre armrest
Was originally sold by Main Road Garage in East Boldon, near Sunderland, and the car still bears it's original dealer sticker. The first owner owned the car for around 18 years.
It's in lovely condition, both on top and underneath. Has three or four small DIY touch ins by its long term original owner, and a small scuff on the black plastic part of the front bumper. The oil pressure warning light flickers on and off quite a bit, but the oil is fresh and fully topped up, so I've been advised it's almost certainly the oil pressure sensor at fault. Doesn't affect the driving of the car.
The car has its original bookpack, with a well stamped original service book and other original documentation, plus supplementary paperwork from following years.
I've owned this car twice, and displayed it at the NEC Classic Car Show last November. As is usually the case, I've seen something else I want, and I have other cars needing a bit of bodywork here and there, so with me not being a dyed in the wool Vauxhall person, I'm reluctantly letting this go.
The car is in Saltburn by the Sea, North Yorkshire TS12 area.
I'm asking £2, 300 for it.
