Supplied by Douglas Cameron on 1/ 1/ 91 this stunning right hand drive 964 Targa 4 is an absolute joy to drive. Supplied new in Slate Grey Metallic with electric sport seats and D90 wheels, this stunning car has been well looked after with full Porsche History through to 80, 000 miles, followed by Charles Ivey and a full engine rebuild at 80465 miles. Clearly a much loved car, with no expense spared, stacks of history, lots of old MOT’s, loads of invoices and most importantly it is completely rust and rot free.
Having only done 35000 miles since its rebuild the car has had lots spent on it to keep it looking as good as it does now. The roof is very quiet, interior tidy and body work immaculate.
The car has been maintained by Jaz Porsche in St Albans most recently and has received a full, windows out external repaint by Classic Car Revivals Ltd. The only modifications from standard are brand new springs and shocks (H&R springs and Koni adaptive dampers). With the stance set slightly lower than factory, It rides superbly and is extremely compliant, no crashing. It is firm, handles brilliantly but is also amazingly comfortable. Brake calipers have been removed from the car, fully disassembled, painted and reassembled with new seals where necessary. New Cup1 1 wheels and new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres fitted less than 500 miles ago. The car wears a cup bypass pipe which makes it sound a little deeper at idle but not loud or intrusive. The interior has also received a refresh with freshly retrimmed seats and RS style door card that you see here.
The engine has been maintained regularly and received a full oil change / inspection service at time of repaint in February 2023.
