Description
Absolutely stunning and utterly charming 1968 Wolseley 1100 automatic in Glen Green and with green leather interior. Definitely one of the best around.
Totally original and unrestored example with just 36, 000 miles. Original carpets and upholstery in superb condition. Undersealed from new, no corrosion. Paintwork is believed original with a few small age-related marks, but shines well. New exhaust.
Lovely buzz from the A-series engine, wonderful Hydrolastic suspension and a fantastic auto box with 4 speeds that can be used as a manual. The car handles superbly (better than all my other classics) and is really fun and easy to drive.
Everything works as it should. Maintained and serviced regularly by 1100 Club members. New MoT. Starts every time, even if left standing for months. Just three owners and lots of history. Sold new in the Orkney Isles to a schoolteacher named Margaret who had it undersealed and drove it until she was too old to drive. Her family kept it in storage until 2014, when it was bought by a Wolseley Owners Club member and left Orkney for the Scottish Lowlands. I bought the car in 2020. Selling due to owning too many cars and not being able to give it the attention it so clearly deserves.
