After almost two years enjoying the amazing experience a Tuscan provides, it's sadly time to pass the keys to a new lucky owner due to planning for a house move.
The car was first registered Jan 2001 and is a rare "Red Rose" spec (precursor to the Tuscan S), meaning over the standard 4. 0 model it featured improved AP Brakes, a higher power output (officially 380hp) and improved suspension. The car also features the optional air conditioning and has had an HID headlight upgrade fitted, in addition to an upgraded audio system with a Rockford amp fitted in the boot (not that you need it with the stunning sound emitting from the Carbon Can Company exhausts).
The previous custodian of the car owned it for over ten years and spent a considerable amount of time and effort to improve the handling, with the car now running on TVR Parts Polybushes with Sagaris steering arms, Race Tech drop links and GAZ Monotube shocks. His efforts paid off as it drives like a dream and doesn't suffer the front end nervousness common to early mk 1's.
Originally metallic blue / grey, it was repainted in 2011 in stunning Lamborghini "Balloon White" pearl with contrasting black upper section and grill. As you can see from the pictures it looks amazing, particularly when the light hits it, but to mention there are now the inevitable few minor blemishes with the passing of time and miles. The interior was also fully retrimmed at the same time, and is in good condition throughout, with the exception of one of the driver's seat bolsters having come loose at the base (a common issue, one I intended to have fixed since getting the car but in practise forgot about as not really noticeable).
The car has just ticked over 70k miles but had the obligatory Powers engine rebuild at 55k, and during my ownership a considerable amount of money spent on it with Powers alongside some additional work at Taylor TVR. Infact it's only just recently returned from Powers (collected it from them 17th June) so you can be assured it's running excellently!
The below is everything I've had done to the car during my ownership, coming to a total spent in 18 months of over £13k -

- Refurbished TVR Spider 18" wheels, with 2021 DOT Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 5 tyres all round (with excellent tread remaining)
The car is MOT'd to mid-July 2024 (12 months), with no advisories.
The number plate "T888 ROR" is included in the sale, plus a fitted bag for the rear screen (which features upgraded clips so you don't lose it when driving roof off on the motorway!) The sought after original owners handbook is also included.
During my ownership the car has always been garaged and * intended* to only be driven in the dry (I won't claim always as many do, given the British weather!) Additionally the car has always been treated with mechanical sympathy when being warmed up from cold (following widely accepted advice for the Speed Six engine based on monitoring oil temp).
