One of the first Roland Garros Peugeot 206's in the UK
A fine example on a T reg with genuine low mileage and lots of service history.
Original Peugeot blaupunkt tape player with 6 CD changer in the boot, panoramic roof window, electric power windows and central locking.
These cars were top of the range when they came out with lots of little extras including colour coded embossed leather seats, tan seat belts and green floor mats. I carried out my apprenticeship for Peugeot 2000 - 2004 and carried on working for Peugeot until 2011. In my eyes the 106, 206, 306 & 406 were some of the finest cars Peugeot made after the 205 & 309. The TU petrol engine is a very robust and strong engine and the 8 valve is a reliable workhorse.
I brought this car from Ashford in Kent for my father a few years ago, it only had 64, 000 miles on the clock and dad used it to go to work and back approx 10 miles a day. He has since moved away and doesn't need the car so gave it to me. Unfortunately with my job there's no way I can keep a car clean so I'm looking to sell this to someone who will look after it as well as dad did.
There's a few things that will need putting right for it to be A1 condition, there is a slight bit of lacquer peel on the top rear spoiler and the boot handle. The n/ s/ r electric window motor requires replacement & there's a few car park dents etc but nothing major.
This car drives very nicely and has been well looked after, it has been parked in my workshop over the winter since dad stopped using it. It has has quite a bit of work done to it since for the MOT test but now has a full 12 months ticket.

Of course the GTi's were great fun but they didn't have the extras that the Roland Garros had. My dream Peugeot was always the 205 Lacoste followed by the 106 Rallye, but the 206 Roland Garros always had something about it and when my father said he was looking for a reliable car there was only one option. Plenty on comfort, a great sound system but not too juicy on fuel.
